Photoshoot for a Cure

Photo Shoot for a Cure is a series of photo shoot events benefiting Team Fox. The series is produced by photographer Diana Levine, in support of her Mom, who was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease 12 years ago. 100% of Photo Shoot for a Cure party proceeds go directly to The Michael J. The Ronald McDonald House at Boston Harbor (formerly Home Away Boston)

RMH at Boston Harbor is where families of critically ill children can stay to be close to their child who is receiving medical treatment in Boston.

Polished Boston donates free manicures to the guests of RMH at Boston Harbor. We have been told that receiving a manicure brings a feeling of “being complete” or “renewal” for families going through a very stressful and difficult time. We also close the salon one day every other month to give on-site manicures to these young patients.

In 2016 and 2017, Shannon ran the Boston Marathon to benefit RMH at Boston Harbor, raising over $33,000.

I have seen first hand how important this program is for sick children and the families who care for them. The people that I have met through this program are truly inspiring. The strength, courage, and bond between these parents and children is unlike anything I have seen before. What an honor and privilege it is to be running for such an AMAZING organization again!
